Job summary

Certified Oil Corporation seeks a highly energetic retail leader to join our team as a Manager In Training. You will support the Store Manager, train team members, and help drive an exceptional guest shopping experience in a fast-paced convenience store setting.

The role offers growth opportunities through Cumberland Farms’ bench leadership, with training from a Training Manager and Supervising Manager across shifts to learn our operations, vendors, and guest expectations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail or food experience.
• Preferred 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant leadership.
• ServSafe/Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team through training, scheduling and coaching.
• Monitor product levels, rotate stock and keep shelves full for 100% in-stock availability.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising and food safety programs where hot food is offered.
• Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior, including coffee and food service areas, restrooms, and overall appearance.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and support the Store Manager in food service operations when needed.
