Job summary

Cumberland Farms in the United States seeks motivated Managers In Training to learn the day-to-day of running a Cumberland Farms convenience store. You'll train with senior leaders, rotate shifts, and prepare to lead guest service and store operations.

The program covers supervision, coaching, scheduling, inventory, and food service where applicable. You’ll help ensure in-stock product, maintain food safety standards, and deliver a warm, efficient guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail or food experience
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant in a leadership role
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe / Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile; deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor and ensure 100% in-stock at all times.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs in locations with hot food.
• Maintain overall store appearance and cleanliness of interior and exterior, coffee station, and food service area.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• Support Store Manager and District Manager as needed to ensure smooth store operations.
