Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a high-energy retail leader for a Managers In Training role. You will learn daily store operations, work with a Training Manager and Supervising Manager, and support the Store Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences across shifts.

You’ll gain leadership experience, participate in a structured training program, and have opportunities to grow within Cumberland Farms’ 1500+ sites across the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED
• Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant in a leadership role
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional customer service
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team through training and coaching
• Monitor stock levels and ensure 100% in-stock availability on the sales floor
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs where applicable
• Maintain clean, organized store appearance and coffee/food service areas
• Operate the cash register efficiently and support store operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store or District Manager
