Job summary

Cumberland Farms, Inc. is seeking a Manager In Training to grow into a Store Leader role across our 24/7 convenience store network. You will learn from experienced managers and rotate through shifts to understand operations, guest service, and team development.

The program emphasizes hands-on leadership, scheduling, coaching, and achieving first-rate store performance while delivering an exceptional guest experience. Growth opportunities abound across 1500+ sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role.
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile! After all, we are known for delivering exceptional Customer Service!
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching team members.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor, rotating stock and keeping product levels full.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, & food safety programs in locations that offer hot food.
• Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of store interiors and exteriors, including coffee and food service areas.
• Operate the cash register in an efficient manner.
• In locations with hot food, assist the Store Manager with quality control and food service guidelines; perform other duties as assigned.
