Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training to support store operations, sales, and team leadership in Minnesota. The role focuses on developing managerial skills while overseeing daily tasks, store appearance, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Train new team members assigned to him or her.
• Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks and interviewing candidates.
• Support store manager by ensuring safety compliance and training.
• Make sales calls with/without store manager and schedule weekly customer calls.
• Monitor safety, payroll, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Review monthly P&L with store manager and identify opportunities.
