Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alphabetic characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.
• Preferred: O'Reilly store or distribution center experience.
• Completed O'Reilly management training program.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Collaborate with district manager and store manager on recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging team members.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations; recommend pay increases.
• Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks and participating in interviews.
• Support store manager by ensuring safety compliance and appropriate training for all staff.
• Make sales calls with/without store manager; schedule weekly customer calls as needed.
• Support store operations as assigned.
• Manage delivery fleet maintenance and keep payroll/timekeeping records.
• Review monthly P&L with store manager and discuss opportunities.
