Job summary

Lids is seeking a hands-on Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, coach a team, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will manage scheduling, drive sales with a focus on KPI achievement, and ensure product presentation and store standards are consistently high.

As a key part of the store leadership, you will mentor team members, handle escalations, and uphold Lids brand standards while maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when the Store Manager is not present.
• Lead, train, and develop store associates through LIDS Training Programs and goal setting.
• Administer progressive disciplinary steps when the Store Manager is absent.
• Drive the selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain store operations, cash handling, inventory accuracy, and visual merchandising.
