Walmart is seeking an Emerging Store Manager (ESM) to develop across essential store operations and leadership areas in Orlando, FL. This developmental role prepares associates for Store Manager opportunities within the Walmart US store operations environment.

The ESM trains across merchandising, people leadership, financial management, customer experience, and community engagement, with a developmental timeline of up to 12–18 months and mobility for future placements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, retail management, or financial management.
2 years' experience in a management role supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers.
2 years' general management experience with financial accountability.
For facilities that sell firearms, CBC/testing requirements apply (where relevant).

Responsabilités

Develop across store operations to prepare for Store Manager opportunities.
Train in merchandising, people leadership, financial management, customer experience, and community engagement.
Assist in managing the store's financial performance and budgeted expenditures.
Ensure proper merchandise presentation, pricing, signing, and inventory levels.
Forecast staffing needs and support talent pipelines and succession planning.
Lead community outreach and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
