Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations, staff development, and customer service leadership at a Waynesboro location. You will recruit, train, and evaluate employees, ensure proper staffing, and uphold safety and cash-control policies.

You will drive sales and efficiency by monitoring inventory, merchandising, and store presentation, while maintaining a clean, secure shopping environment and complying with company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and inventory control.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; address gaps via coaching or termination.
• Assist with setting pay rates and advancement recommendations.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations regularly; lead meetings about safety and policies.
• Open and close the store with adequate staffing and coverage.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency and loss prevention.
• Manage stock and merchandising; ensure pricing and signage compliance.
• Ensure cash accountability, inventory accuracy and secure store operations.
