Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas are helpful.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in daily store operations.
• Mentor and coach all team members to meet service goals.
• Implement strategies to improve customer service and sales performance.
• Maintain store appearance, product presentation, and standards.
• Staffing, hiring, and scheduling to meet needs.
• Document disciplinary actions and support promotion decisions.
• Manage P&L and control shrink; ensure safe work environment.
• Communicate Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings and conversations.
• Ensure thorough training and ongoing development of staff.
