Job summary

Meijer is seeking an experienced store leadership professional to oversee daily operations, staff, and customer experience across departments.

You will direct staffing, hiring, training, and performance coaching, while ensuring sales goals, shrink control, and adherence to company standards.

This role requires hands-on leadership in a high-volume retail environment, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas and customer service experience is helpful.
• Ability to communicate directions clearly to team members.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise team members in daily store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Staffing, selection, and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote succession planning and identify development needs for team members.
• Maintain P&L accountability, achieve sales, and manage shrink.
• Ensure safety and high standards of store appearance and operations.
