Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Store Leader to plan, direct, and supervise daily operations across departments. You will mentor staff, manage staffing and training, and drive sales while maintaining a focus on customer service and store presentation.

This role requires 1 year of management experience and 2–3 years in retail, with strong analytical and leadership skills to guide a team toward Meijer standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of management experience.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to improve performance and customer service.
• Manage staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs and achieve goals.
• Monitor P&L, sales, shrink, and store performance to inform decisions.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure training compliance.
• Model exceptional customer service and support Meijer standards.
