Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience recommended.
• 1 year of management experience preferred.
• Experience rotating through store areas and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze basic financial data.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members; drive customer service and sales.
• Oversee staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs.
• Apply disciplinary actions when needed and support promotions decisions.
• Ensure P&L accountability and shrink control for the department.
• Maintain a safe, clean store environment and training standards.
• Promote Meijer initiatives and ensure consistent customer experiences.
