Job summary

Five Below in Lima, Ohio is looking for a capable retail lead to oversee daily store operations, train crew, and wow customers on every visit.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year of management experience and excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will support openings and closings, stock, and merchandising to drive sales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew deliver WOW customer experience at checkout.
• Train crew on BEST customer service; ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily store activities and staff performance for quality service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and stocking to speed up shelves.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations and staff issues.
• Open/close the store; secure cash, lock doors, set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive sales and control expenses by improving merchandising and service.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock room.
