Job summary

Lids Sports Group is the largest licensed sports retailer in North America, with 1,300+ stores nationwide and headquarters in Indianapolis, IN. We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding brand standards.

You will act as Manager on duty, supervise staff, and ensure a positive, inclusive work environment. Requirements include strong communication, leadership, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Supervise store associates using LIDS Training Programs and set goals for sales and tasks.
• Administer disciplinary steps with verbal and written warnings when Store Manager is absent.
• Foster a fun, productive environment and help staff understand how their work supports company objectives.
• Ensure adherence to Lids Brand Standards, dress code, and policies.
