Job summary

Lids Sports Group in the United States is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, coach a team, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will apply product knowledge and in-store customization capabilities to enhance the customer experience.

As part of the role, you will drive selling strategies to meet KPIs, manage scheduling and staff training, and safeguard assets while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when the Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting for sales and tasks, and follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment while aligning work with company objectives.
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment and adhere to Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates during unexpected peaks.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safeguard inventory, funds, and property.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
