Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking candidates for a role that supports the store manager in training and development, sales leadership, and daily operations. You will help supervise team members, participate in hiring and evaluations, and ensure safety and training compliance across the store.

Responsibilities include assisting with recruitment, managing performance, coordinating with the district manager, and supporting accountability through KPI tracking and P&L reviews.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience.
• Completed O’Reilly management training program.
• Advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist in hiring tasks and interviewing candidates.
• Support store manager with safety compliance and training.
• Make sales calls with the store manager and potentially weekly customer calls.
• Manage store operations and fleet records; ensure the store is neat, clean and organized.
• Review monthly P&L with store manager and discuss opportunities.
