Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Manager-in-Training candidate to assist in store leadership, sales, and operations. You will learn to supervise professionals and retail staff, align hiring and development with corporate standards, and drive safety, performance, and profitability within a busy store environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, strong interpersonal skills, and completion of indicated management programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Completion of Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store and HUB store operations and teams.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate, promote, and discipline staff in collaboration with management.
• Train new team members and conduct performance reviews.
• Assist in interviewing and candidate selection.
• Ensure safety compliance and training across the team.
• Make sales calls and coordinate weekly customer outreach.
• Oversee delivery fleet maintenance and payroll-related tasks.
• MonitorP&L, KPI dashboards and opportunities for cost savings.
