Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service for Pottery Barn to support the management team in delivering World-Class service and building customer relationships.

You will supervise staff to ensure proper coverage across the store, coach on selling skills, and reinforce customer-service principles while driving sales and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Superior critical thinking to identify challenges and plan actions quickly.
• Strong time management and multi-task execution with competing priorities.
• 2–3 years of retail sales or customer-service management experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads the store team to create an exceptional customer experience and exceed sales goals.
• Ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed while modeling sales generation and service for staff.
• Coach staff on customer service principles by reviewing successes and challenges.
• Utilize Selling Essentials and training resources to educate the team on product and selling skills.
• Create a positive environment where all associates are treated with dignity per People-First philosophy.
• Ensure timely resolution of client service issues including delivery/pick-up and reporting.
