Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the team during shifts and in the manager’s absence, focusing on delivering exceptional service to both retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and programs (Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No).
Assist in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members.
Perform store opening/closing duties, including money handling and security checks.
Ensure returns, exchanges and invoicing are processed accurately and promptly.
