Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, coach staff, and drive customer satisfaction across store teams. You will balance sales goals with loss prevention while upholding brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will mentor associates, maintain visual standards, manage cash and POS tasks, and support inventory and backroom organization to ensure smooth store performance and exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum demonstrated ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty to resolve scheduling issues and customer concerns.
• Lead and develop store associates through training programs and coaching.
• Maintain visual merchandising, cleanliness, and proper signage.
• Manage cash handling, opening/closing till, and POS accuracy.
• Support inventory counts, product counts, and backroom organization.
• Open and close the store following company procedures.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
