Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking a Store Leader Trainee to join our store leadership team. You will work with assistants to drive merchandising, marketing initiatives and profitability while developing the skills of the entire store staff.

We promote from within and offer a pathway to branch into ongoing leadership roles. Training programs are available, and we are hiring immediately to support our expanding store network.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for store staff.
• Desire to maintain high retention by developing leaders and empowering employees.
• Ability to oversee merchandising and marketing programs and use store reports to drive change.
• Experience with cash handling, fuel transactions, and rewards programs.
• Commitment to health, safety, and sanitation procedures and keeping the store presentable.
• Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
• Proficient with basic computer tools (Word, Excel).
• A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training and coaching for all store employees.
• Develop leaders, retain staff, and empower employees to improve performance.
• Oversee and implement merchandising and marketing programs.
• Use P&L and store reports to affect change and optimize profitability.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote rewards loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment per health and sanitation procedures.
