Michaels Capitola store is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead and motivate a diverse team, drive sales and KPI attainment, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will uphold brand promises, manage shrink and safety programs, and coordinate workload across departments.

The role includes hiring, coaching, performance management, and serving as Manager on Duty, with cross-training in framing and production where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience, including knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and customer service excellence.
• 2+ years of experience directly supervising a diverse team, including performance management and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the store, ensuring SOPs and company standards are followed.
• Deliver sales and KPI plans and manage staff to meet targets.
• Lead execution of customer brand promises and safety programs.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop Team Members and handle performance processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and ensure cross-training across departments.
