Michaels in Cedar Knolls, NJ is seeking a Store Manager to lead a team and drive sales while delivering the Customer Brand Promises. You will manage workload, KPIs, and budgets, hire and train staff, and ensure the store is ready to serve customers.

The role requires 5+ years of retail experience and 2+ years of supervising a diverse team, with strong emphasis on customer service excellence, safety, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service excellence.
• 2+ years of experience directly supervising a diverse team, including performance management and talent development.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage all aspects of the store, including adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance to laws and requirements; hold team accountable for store conditions and results
• Deliver sales plan/profit plan and other KPIs in conjunction with annual objectives; manage the store team to achieve KPI targets
• Lead the execution of our customer brand promises.
• Implement and lead shrink and safety programs to deliver goals
• Use company tools to set, prioritize and communicate goals and provide overall management to team members and customers
• Staff the store with qualified Team Members: Hire, train, observe and coach the team to achieve results; manage performance and development; succession planning
• Interacts with others in an accepting and respectful manner; promotes commitment to the organization’s vision and values; models a positive image
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD)
• Maintain Operational understanding of all store departments; cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
