TravelCenters of America is seeking a Store Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in operating and marketing functions at the Travel Store/Convenience Store. You will staff, train and supervise the team, and help drive profitability while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Competitive wages and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) required.
• Supervisory experience in convenience store, truck service, travel center, or related industry preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to meet performance standards and improve store profitability.
• Recruit, hire, train and retain high-quality staff per company guidelines.
• Manage operations, staffing, training and vendor relationships as directed by the General Manager.
• Ensure safety standards and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Fill in for hourly associates as needed.
