Job summary

TravelCenters of America seeks an Assistant General Manager for the Travel Store/Convenience Store to assist the General Manager with operations and marketing, staffing, training and development, supervision, and profitability improvements. The role emphasizes leadership and customer service while maintaining product knowledge and a safe, efficient store environment.

You will recruit, hire, train and retain high-quality staff, coach according to policy, and drive revenue and profit objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) required.
• Supervisory experience in convenience store, truck service, travel center, or related industry preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; POS software understanding.
