Lids Sports Group, a leader in licensed sports retail, seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Honolulu to drive sales, lead a team, and ensure top-notch customer service. This role demands hands-on supervision, adherence to brand standards, and effective staff development to maintain a vibrant store environment.

The position emphasizes staff scheduling, training, and executing store initiatives, with a focus on delivering a premier customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsabilités

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow up.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline with verbal and written warning in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment.
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by establishing supportive working relationships and adhering to Brand Standards.
• Responsible for scheduling and staffing the store including calling in associates during peaks when the Store Manager is not present.
• Participate in LIDS Training Programs and follow up on goals.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Encourage store associates’ direct compliance of established company policies, procedures and guidelines including safeguarding of company inventory, funds and property.
• Other duties as assigned.
