Lids Sports Group is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Washington. You will lead daily store operations, coach associates, and drive sales while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

The role emphasizes training, scheduling, and adherence to company policies to deliver exceptional retail experiences. The position reports to the Store Manager and offers opportunities for career growth within a leading licensed sports retailer.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage self-directed tasks.

Responsabilités

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling, customer issues, and store operations when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead and train store associates through LIDS programs, set goals, and monitor progress.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings when the Store Manager is not present.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment and ensure adherence to Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, covering peaks and coverage needs as required.
• Support recruiting and training of store personnel on procedures and policies.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safekeeping of inventory and assets, and assist in overall store performance.
