Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Sierra Vista, AZ seeks a Store Manager to lead a team, drive sales, and uphold our customer brand promises in a fast-paced retail setting. You will hire, train, and coach staff, manage performance, and ensure SOPs and safety standards are followed.

Responsibilities include achieving KPIs within budget, executing shrink and inventory controls, and keeping operations aligned with company programs. Nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience including inventory, merchandising and customer service excellence.
• 2+ years supervising a diverse team with performance management and talent development.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the store, ensuring SOPs and company programs are followed.
• Deliver sales and KPI goals in line with annual objectives; drive customer experience.
• Hire, train, observe and coach team members; manage performance and development.
• Oversee shrink, safety, and inventory controls; ensure proper workload planning.
• Act as Manager on Duty and ensure cross-training across departments.
