Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience, including specialized knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and customer service excellence.
• 2+ years of experience directly supervising a diverse team, including performance management and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the store, including adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance to applicable laws and requirements; deliver sales plan/profit plan and other KPIs in conjunction with annual objectives.
• Staff the store with qualified Team Members: Hire, train, observe and coach the team to achieve results; lead the performance management process and development.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and maintain operational understanding of all store departments; cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Implement shrink and safety programs and drive adherence to brand promises and store policies.
• Interact with customers and ensure a positive, respectful environment while modeling Michaels values.
