Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking a General Manager to lead a store team, deliver an outstanding guest experience, and drive operational excellence. You will manage P&L, scheduling, inventory, supplier relations, and ensure food safety and brand standards.

The role requires 2+ years of managerial experience in a retail/food service setting, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or similar field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a manager or supervisor of a team in a restaurant or similar retail customer service environment.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; energized by working with people.
• Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes our culture, values, and mission.
• Customer-first attitude and ability to connect with the customer; respond to needs.
• Bias towards action; willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done.
• Ability to work hours needed to run the store, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and lead the team to provide an exceptional guest experience.
• Use operational tools to achieve operational excellence (P&L, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, scheduling/inventory).
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and manage inventory shipments.
• Review KPIs to identify issues and opportunities for improvement and adjust accordingly.
• Manage store cash activities (deposits).
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines by all Team Members.
• Uphold brand standards and store appearance per Smoothie King guidelines.
• Drive company program implementation through action planning and team motivation.
• Develop local store marketing plans and support brand initiatives including community outreach.
