CVS Health in Massachusetts is offering a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role. The 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training combines virtual and hands-on learning with guidance from District Leaders, HR, and Store Manager coaches.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a four-year degree preferred, and retail management experience or prior CVS supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Customer service excellence to support team and customers.
• Ability to implement merchandising strategies to grow store sales.
• Oversight of store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion during the structured program.
• Support your store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in support of CVS’s purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Be willing to accept promotion roles with the market you work in.
