Job summary

CVS Health is seeking candidates for the Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program. This full-time, 40-hour weekly role is designed to develop you into a CVS Store Manager through a 16-week, self-paced and collaborative training with district leaders and coaching support.

The program offers both virtual and hands-on experiences to grow your leadership skills, including opportunities to engage with a leadership team and participate in CVS values-based practices.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Customer care duties to deliver high service levels.
• Ability to execute merchandising strategies to drive sales.
• Experience managing store inventory and assets.
• Willingness to learn and progress toward Store Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support you on your path to promotion during the structured program.
• Support your store as management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of "helping people on their path to better health".
• Be willing to accept promotion roles with the market that you work in.
• Willingness to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market.
• Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs.
