Jacksons Food Stores, Inc. is offering an Assistant Manager in Training (AIT) program designed to groom you for the role of Assistant Manager. You will gain hands-on experience across store operations, driving sales and profitability while coaching team members and controlling expenses.

The position provides exposure to merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention. The program emphasizes leadership development, strong customer service, and reliable availability for a 24/7 operation

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Availability for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Previous leadership in a food service or retail environment.
• At least 3 months of customer service experience in a retail setting.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be of legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco and able to work around slot machines (NV only).
• Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and adapt to change.

Aufgaben

• Provide exceptional service by greeting and thanking customers.
• Follow company policy and procedures with employees.
• Suggest purchases and promote store specials.
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling.
• Maintain cleanliness of building interior/exterior.
• Minimize out-of-stock by restocking shelves and displays.
• Operate register and store equipment when needed.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Support food service and beverage programs to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Prepare daily deposits when needed.
