Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store processes and drive sales with a focus on exceptional customer service. You will lead a skilled team across departments, maintaining safety and inventory standards while managing P&L responsibilities.

The role requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma or better, and 1–3 years of retail experience. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Proven success leading non-perishable and perishable department operations with integrity, including profit and loss, safety, staffing, and inventory management.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail, analytical and solution-focused decisiveness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, bookkeeping/accounting, time and attendance, and HR software.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately ten people (all Department Managers and Receivers).
• Develop the store leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience by motivating and engaging team members.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotation with attention to code dates and sanitation.
• Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards across the store.
• Drive sales growth and store experience by executing company programs and standards.
• Provide constructive feedback and direction for effective communication within store teams and partners.
