Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations, drive sales, and lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee perishable and non-perishable departments, mentor department managers, and ensure safety, labeling, and compliance with company standards.

The role requires 21+ with a high school diploma, retail leadership experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business management or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading non-perishable and perishable department operations with P&L, safety, sanitation, staffing, discipline, training, and merchandising.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, bookkeeping/accounting, time and attendance, and HR software.

• Lead a team of ~ten people including Department Managers and Receivers with integrity and care.
