Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations, drive sales, and lead a team of about ten department managers and receivers. You’ll ensure safety, quality, and customer service while managing inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets.

In this role you will coach leaders, implement company programs, and uphold Sprouts values in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business management or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience with P&L, safety, staffing, and merchandising responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, detail-oriented and solution-focused.

Responsibilities

• Positively shape store culture and model Sprouts values.
• Develop and lead the store leadership team to deliver a superior customer experience.
• Manage a team of approximately ten in Department Managers and Receivers.
• Lead inventory, labor, and expenses to meet sales targets.
• Ensure safety, labeling, health, and sanitation standards are met.
• Communicate policies, initiatives, and product knowledge across teams.
• Address emergencies and resolve issues promptly with urgency.
