Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join the store leadership team. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to cultivate an environment that supports the Boot Barn Mission, Vision, and Values, uphold exceptional customer service, and drive sales goals.

You will train and develop partners, plan events, manage schedules, monitor merchandise presentation, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts to meet business needs including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition of excellence; lead on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Collaborate on scheduling, hiring, training, and implementation of policies and procedures across the store team.
• Plan and execute community outreach and volume-driving events to engage the local market.
• Maintain merchandise stock levels, presentations, and signings to meet customer needs and adhere to corporate guidelines.
