Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Store Manager who will lead store partners to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals. The role focuses on developing teams, maintaining store standards, and engaging with the community to reinforce the Boot Barn brand.

The manager will collaborate with District & Regional leadership, HR, and Store Support Center to drive profitability via staffing optimization, shrink control, and cost management.

• Ability to train and develop staff across product categories.

Responsibilities

• Lead store partners to foster a service and selling culture and build long-standing customer relationships.
• Develop and implement training plans to achieve full competency across product categories.
• Assess and communicate localized customer needs to District Manager.
• Analyze business trends to maximize sales and meet key metrics.
• Review sales goals with partners and provide coaching and feedback.
• Ensure adequate staffing and manage payroll implications.
• Communicate policies, adjust schedules, and implement operational directives.
• Ensure merchandise stock levels and store presentation adhere to guidelines.
• Lead customer engagement through credit card and loyalty programs.
• Plan and execute community events with District Manager.
• Clarify leadership roles per store leadership matrix.
• Complete opening/closing procedures per company standards.
• Maintain professionalism and teamwork with customers, staff, and partners.
