Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Ability to recruit, interview, hire, counsel and termination practices including legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, address gaps and counsel or terminate when needed.
• Recommend employee pay rate and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and safety policies.
• Open and close the store consistently, ensuring operations run smoothly.
