Carter’s Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll lead a welcoming team, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer experiences across our baby and children’s lines.

Responsibilities include workforce management, training, merchandising, and KPI-driven operations. A minimum of 1 year in retail management and a high school diploma or GED are required; familiarity with Outlook/Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook/Excel/eCommerce systems).

Responsabilités

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success and consistently model service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Analyze the business and drive KPIs with the team to improve results.
• Assist Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store staff.
• Plan and report on merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
• Help reduce loss through customer service, education, and operational controls.
