Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations at a retail location. You will recruit, train and supervise staff, open/close the store, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with policies while driving sales and customer satisfaction.

You will also oversee inventory, merchandising, cash handling, safety, and performance evaluations to maintain a well-run, profitable store environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and staff the store.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations and address coaching or terminations when needed.
• Manage opening/closing, scheduling, and daily store operations to meet targets.
• Monitor sales, inventory, and expenses to identify opportunities and risks.
