Job summary

Journeys in Asheville is seeking a motivated retail team member ready to grow into management. The role offers a pathway to Manager in Training with promotion from within, and you will drive sales while maintaining an energetic, inclusive store environment that resonates with teens and families.

This position requires 1–2 years of retail experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail sales experience required or preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment and learn.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Recruit, interview, and hire high-caliber employees with in-store needs.
• Train and develop a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing company policies.
• Supervise daily store operations and loss prevention practices.
• Plan weekly staffing schedules and ensure a fun, full-service customer experience.
• Resolve customer issues effectively and embody Journeys culture.
