Job summary

Journeys is seeking a Manager in Training to recruit, hire, train, and lead store personnel to achieve sales goals and protect company assets. You will foster a fun, inclusive environment while driving performance and accountability.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of retail experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting. This role may require night and weekend shifts and a 45-hour work week.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to work 45 hours per week, nights and weekends.
• Completion of training leading to Manager in Training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals.
• Recruit, interview, and hire high-caliber employees.
• Train and develop a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and enforce policies.
• Plan weekly staffing schedules.
• Supervise daily store operations and loss prevention.
