The candidate will lead hiring, scheduling, and training, ensuring efficient daily openings and closings, and driving sales through effective merchandising and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Certain store locations may give preference to bilingual Spanish speakers.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events.
• Open/close the store on schedule and ensure secure operations.
