Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and retain qualified employees per laws and policies; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training; conduct evaluations; identify gaps with solutions.
• Make recommendations regarding pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations regularly; coordinate meetings.
• Ensure store openings and closings are performed daily.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify trends, profitability and shrink.
• Order to meet in-stock targets; manage weekly inventory planning.
• Facilitate staging, stocking and merchandise storage.
• Ensure merchandise presentation with pricing and signage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; control damages and paperwork.
• Maintain cashier accountability and cash control for financial integrity.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Keep store clean, safe and organized.
• Ensure tools are available to perform tasks.
• Follow SOPs and policies; ensure compliance.
• Complete all paperwork on time.
