Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Los Angeles to direct all store processes, lead a team of about ten managers and receivers, and ensure superior customer service. You will manage inventory, safety compliance, and store conditions while driving sales and efficiency.

This role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and a focus on people development. The position involves P&L accountability, schedule flexibility for nights and weekends, and maintaining

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Proven success leading non-perishable and perishable department operations with integrity, including P&L, safety, staffing, and merchandising.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail and problem solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic HR software.
• Food Safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct all store processes and drive sales, labor, and expenses to targets.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people, including Department Managers and Receivers.
• Maintain compliance with safety, labeling, health, and sanitation standards.
• Oversee inventory management, order controls, and shrink reduction.
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and staffing decisions as needed.
