Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all business processes at the assigned store and drive sales, efficiency, and customer advocacy. You will lead a team of about ten department managers and receivers, uphold safety and labeling standards, and step in for the Store Manager as needed.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cross-department knowledge, and performance-driven management in a fast-paced environment with focus on customer service and compliance.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, a degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Positively shape the culture in the store by modeling leadership behaviors aligned to Sprouts values.
• Develop the store leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience by motivating and engaging team members.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people (all Department Managers and Receivers).
• Motivate and develop the management team by embracing Sprouts leadership behaviors.
• Celebrate store successes and identify opportunities for perpetual improvement.
• Consistently evolve customer satisfaction by training teams to exceed expectations.
