Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a Ross store's operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will drive sales, manage staff, and uphold company standards to deliver a friendly, easy-to-shop experience for customers. You will recruit, train and develop a leadership team, supervise the stockroom, front end, and sales floor, and ensure compliance with all safety and loss-prevention policies.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Leads the entire operation of the Store to ensure Company standards and best practices are met.
• Recruit, train and develop Assistant Managers, Area Supervisors and non-exempt Associates.
• Manage the Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor to ensure timely merchandise flow and productivity.
• Ensure proper scheduling of Associates to meet business objectives and payroll administration.
• Lead awareness of Loss Prevention programs and annual inventory processes.
