Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, drive sales and ensure a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.

You will recruit and develop a talented team, manage the stockroom, front end and sales floor, and keep payroll aligned with business needs. The role requires 5+ years in store management, strong customer service, and the ability to lead, coach and communicate effectively with Associates while upholding company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively with Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to accomplish goals and execute plans.
• Fluency in English.
• Must exercise considerable independent judgement and discretion.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Store's operations to meet Company standards and best practices.
• Recruits, hires, trains and develops Store Associates and leadership.
• Manages Stockroom, Front End and Sales Floor to ensure timely merchandise flow.
• Monitors expenses and payroll to stay within budget.
• Ensures compliance with all State, Local and Federal regulations.
